I was inside a big glass building/resort and two hummingbirds kept coming by chasing each other. Soon it seemed like their health was in concern and they were becoming weak. I was concerned they needed to find a way out of the building. They were exhausted and fall at my feet and then allowed me to carry them both in my hands for a very long distance in attempt to free them. When i got to the front doors to go outside i woke up. I am not sure if they were going to be able to be free.
Your dream about the hummingbirds in the glass building/resort is rich in symbolism, and it reveals several layers of meaning related to your life, emotions, and subconscious mind.
The setting of your dream in a large glass building or resort indicates transparency and openness in your life. Glass structures are symbolic of clarity and seeing things clearly. However, a resort, typically a place of relaxation and escape, suggests a need for a retreat or a desire for peace and leisure.
Hummingbirds are often symbols of joy, resilience, energy, and the ability to overcome difficult times, despite their small size. The act of them chasing each other could reflect aspects of your life where there's an ongoing pursuit, perhaps related to love, passion, or even conflicts. The concern for their health and their eventual weakness might suggest a realization that frantic efforts can lead to exhaustion and vulnerability.
You feeling concerned for their health and taking active steps to help them find a way out suggests your compassionate and nurturing nature. It symbolizes your willingness to go the extra mile for those you care about, indicating you may have an empathetic role in your relationships or work environment. The act of carrying them for a “very long distance” shows dedication and commitment, and perhaps reflects your current responsibilities or burdens you willingly carry to help others.
Doors are often symbolic of opportunities, transitions, and new beginnings. Reaching the front doors with the intent to free the hummingbirds can imply a nearing resolution or breakthrough in your waking life. However, waking up before knowing if they were free leaves an open question about outcomes, reflecting possible uncertainties about whether your efforts will lead to the desired resolution or liberation in whatever situation you're facing.
This dream highlights your sense of responsibility, empathy, and desire to help others. The building signifies clarity and the hummingbirds represent delicate matters or individuals you care about. Their exhaustion may mirror an element of your life where too much energy is being expended, leading to the need for relief or release. Your subconscious might be advising you to find a balance between helping others and taking care of your own needs, ensuring you don't become exhausted yourself.
Consider what aspects of your life reflect this dynamic, and if there are current circumstances where you feel this need to assist but are uncertain about the outcome. It might be time to focus on releasing or finding clarity in a particular area, ensuring you have the energy and capacity to support others without compromising your own well-being.
